The idea behind these exercises is that when you think about it, you can be a little more self-aware and do things a little differently. It’s kind of like how we used to be able to get a little bit out of the way, when we learned to make our own rules, but instead we were able to think about what we were doing, what we were doing and how you were doing it.
The best way to get a handle on the self-awareness is to take a step back and look at what people are thinking. There are a lot of great books and articles on the subject, many of which also contain self-awareness exercises, and I have to say I don’t think it’s really that bad. I think what it’s good for is that you can sort of work it into your mindset and actually be aware of what is going on around you.
