Yeah, that sounds like a line from a movie. But it’s also something we’ve heard countless times in our time on the internet. When we’re trying to remember things, we tend to create lists of everything we want to remember. And this makes it hard for us to remember things that we don’t want to forget. It takes all the fun out of remembering things.
And why is this? Because the more we create lists of things to remember, the more we tend to lose them.
Thats exactly what we did there. We created lists of things we wanted to remember and then ran them over and over in our heads. And it was a good thing. Because our lists became less and less useful as the days went by and we forgot more things than we remembered. It was a real waste of time.
And that’s why we’re so prone to forget things. Because we’re always trying to remember things. And trying to remember things is our attempt to control them. Because trying to control things doesn’t work.
In the video, the guys do mention that the game will not allow the player to cheat and will not allow for the player to use the game’s own digital assets to perform any of the game’s actions. As a result, the game is basically useless. But at least it’s a way to make sure the game stays useful. And if it’s all that important to you, you can always cheat your way into the game.
